A "Private Lab" Supposedly Wants to Clone Jesus' Daughter

Could we clone Jesus' daughter? (No, no we can't.) A video from paranormal/conspiracy channel Night Terrors claims that a private lab wants to create the first cloned human—and it just so happens to be Jesus' offspring.



According to the video, Jesus was actually married to Mary Magdalene and had two daughters, Sarah and Mariana. There is actually some real evidence to support this; the video cites Karen L. King of Harvard Divinity School (although I think they used a picture of Sally Field), who claims that a recently discovered manuscript reveals that Jesus had a wife. They also cite a book written by York University professor Barrie Wilson, which compiles the evidence that Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene.

But then it starts to get completely insane. The video claims that we recently found the mummified corpse of Mariana in France, in Rennes-le-Chateau, a village which is the site of purported buried treasure from 19th century priest Bérenger Saunière, and as a result is subject to many conspiracy theories. The corpse was then auctioned off to an "well-known pharmaceutical company" (which goes unnamed), and now scientists are looking to extract the DNA (basically citing Jurassic Park as a scientific reference), and clone Jesus' child.

there are so many problems with this. While there is some evidence for the whole "Jesus had a wife and children" thing, there is absolutely no evidence that we actually found any of their remains. And while it's true that scientists are trying to clone a woolly mammoth using extracted DNA, saying that we're "close to cloning a Tyrannosaurus Rex" is just plain ridiculous.

And it doesn't stop there. The host says that a private lab in Florida is not only working on this, but is already looking for surrogate mothers. He says the one who "wins" (no joke) would get millions of dollars in compensation, which I'm fairly certain is illegal (and also just sketchy as f*ck). He even goes so far as to say they must have the Mariana eggs already, and that they're currently frozen and ready to be implanted. You can't make this stuff up (or maybe you can).
